Logging In And Out

Learn how to log in and out as well as running a test alert.

Logging in for the first time

Once you’ve registered your account, you can log into your app using your username (your email address) and password.

Please make sure you accept permissions for location, camera and microphone to work when you first log in. All of these services are required for the app to work to its full potential:

  • The camera and microphone are used to create recordings if you raise an Alert.
  • The location settings are used so we can get your location quickly when you are logged into the app, in case of emergency.  You can find out more about location settings and how they work here.

You will be given the option to go through the app tutorial and then asked to test your ‘send alert’ panic button.

Testing your Panic Button

We encourage you to test your Panic Button to give you peace of mind that it’s working. It’ll help you to understand how the process would work should you find yourself in a real emergency.

When you test your Panic Button, an alarm will sound, be aware as the alarm is loud. To cancel it, please type in your pin.

NB: It is advised that you answer this phone call so that we know you are safe, failing which, we will NOT assume you are safe and will dispatch a response vehicle to your location. For all tests, please make sure to answer the phone.

Logging in

You can log into the app using your username (your email address) and password. Some devices will automatically save your username and password for easier access.

Logging out

To log out, please follow these steps:

  • Click ‘Menu’ on the bottom dashboard.
  • Click ‘Exit’.
  • Click ‘Yes’ when asked ‘are you sure you want to log out?’
  • To confirm, enter your date of birth.

Can I log in on more than one device?

You can use the app on any phone, but you can’t be logged into more than one active session at a time.

Can my friends or family use the app on my phone?

We do not recommend sharing log-in details with anybody. They are unique to you and we wouldn’t want you to be unable to log on in an emergency situation.
